    .

Morning all, kids prom was last night at the Ronald Regan Library, nice setting. His date was beautiful and they had a great time. He went to the official after prom party and I got a call at 230 this morning to pick him up.
Now to get through finals. :boom:

 Morning folks. :pccoffee: A little more rain overnight, nice. Hope I get to cut grass this break, but I am definitely not complaining, we needed this rain bad. :)
Truth, and I appreciate it my brother. ;)

Ronald Regan Library ... very, very cool. The man is still a hero to me, and the reason I joined the service. I hope to see that library some day before I'm gone.

I know you're frustrated with him Andy, went throught the same with our youngest, so I know exactly where you're at ... something tells me he'll pull it off and make it; not sure why, but that's my gut feeling. ... and how it worked out with our boy, but I did have some serious doubts.
    :fingerscrossed:

@Marty65 reference your pic above, I saw similar loads balanced on mopeds during my year remote in Balikesir, Turkey. Other times I saw families of 5 (Dad/Mom/3 kids) loaded on a moped going down the road. 3rd world countries are an interesting experience, especially when one gets out away from the big metropolitan cities.

image.jpg Doing a few chores around the yard this morning. The grass is cut and I Need to trim the bay leaf tree. Maybe catch the out going tide and get the line in the water. On a personal Tacoma note it's been a frustrating week with accessories for my truck. I want the best for it so it's always taking care of. I upgraded to the AGM northstar battery and for some Unknown logical reason my access cab did not agree to the added weight of the new battery. It actually affected my ride quality to were I wasn't happy. The OEM battery is back in and the truck is happy. Know one else has reported this situation, not even the folks running duels. So I'm selling the northstar.

And insult to injury, my vintage restored Toyota wheels I picked up back in February don't fit
My truck:facepalm::crazy:. So they're up for sale! I'm ok with this madness I create for myself because it's a learning curve we go thru in life each day. Now I'm going to decide on what wheel to go with.
Everyone enjoy the Day!! Before picture of the bay leaf tree.

Right before I took off work for surgery, my boss wanted me to take 135 chase lounges on a 130 mile (each way) road trip to get them re-strapped. They were stained by suntan oil. I found that lacquer thinner removed it and saved the day. But he SERIOUSLY thought I could put 135 lounge chairs in the back of a short bed Tacoma and make it in one trip. two stacks wide would have still been over 25' tall. That would have made one hell of a picture!

Lol, yea don't you love when the boss gives you knucklehead assignments!! This guy was pushing the theory of gravity! We deal with suntan lotion everywhere at our beach facilities. Thanks for the tip. Glad your feeling better, and up and around. Don't over do it!

They started the after prom party, free to all seniors becase of a death in the 90's. They wanted to know where the kids are and give the 'prom plus' committee a green light for almost anything they want. Zip lines, rock climbing, food, music, dancing, etc. And it goes from midnight to 5am. But he got tired at 230. Like you said, I had no problem with that call.
    He did ask,"were you asleep?"

    Be proud and feel fortunate....

My prom night evolved into 2 full days and nights. My parents were livid. My girlfriends dad damn near had to be restrained. Funny part was, I was ready to call it a night before the sun came up the next morning. Amazing what a hot 17 year old can talk a young man into......

OK Sports fans! Here we go! In about 10 minutes, we're firing up the Tacoma (which I'll be driving.....first time in almost a week!) and heading to the park with a picnic lunch. The Mrs is putting that together. It's the little things in life you miss the most when you can't do what you want!

Is there a reason the skiff is suspended? Looks like 3 winches on that dock. Those aren't cheap. Curious minds want to know... Or nosey people... :gossip: LOL

Mike you can be comfortable asking me any questions. I'm always picking your brain! Anytime you can keep a boat out of the water it's good. It's attached to two manual davits that seem to be readley available around here do to folks switching to electric cradle lifts. It beats having to periodically adjust lines with the tide changes also. The other single davit behind the tree can be used for a jet ski. We've also pulled engines out with these davits. On the north side are nice electric ones that used to hold a 21' center console.
