i have read a bunch and can honestly probably give one heck of a research page to anyone looking into this but as far as i have read it does not state the physical years they come one other then in the later year tundras.
so should i assume they are from like 2004 to current?

Yeah since my spare is mounted vertically in the bed, they are not as much backup lights as they are just a general flood light for setting up camp, loading bikes on at night, etc. I just couldn't think of any other label that suited them.

My "real" back up lights go on automatically when in reverse:

    0833F3F5-0EB2-44E5-BCDE-01D1AC2EE6B2_0233fffec6b095b0c512ab25e15e6b157f400224.jpg

While that switch in the tool box controls the top lights in this photo:

    7D197EDE-FCB7-4347-82C9-3A79D93B5C6E_cdc18ffd277a6f25ab257adb1fdcb4782fd2fe94.jpg

No diagram unfortunately except the one I got for the switches. For the 2 way setup I will be using a relay that will activate when the signal wire is hit. So it won't be a true two-way switch because if either of them are activated, the other one would not deactivate it, but I can at least turn it on from either location.

No way current model tundras brakes fit. Just go for the stamping. 13WL tundra calipers (231 mm) will fit on the Tacoma. That is the one I have. There is anoter model that's 199 mm but I don't know the stamping.

There is an Amazon kit that has nicely rebuilt 13WL calipers too.

Why not get the Amazon kit and then just scrap off the paint and then re-paint?
