    Nice build!
I'm thinking about doing the same wheel and tire combo as yourself but I'm not planning on lifting my truck. Did you rub at all with the XD's offset and tires on the stock mud flaps? Also what are your opinions on the Ko2's so far? Any noticable power/mpg loss?

I haven't had the mud flaps on in the front because I immediately took them off when I got it. Just make sure to get the stock tire width and tire size (265/60 or 65/r17) and you shouldn't have a rubbing issue. The Ko2's are a great tire, I have great grip on and off road. They roll super smooth and have very little hum on the road. As for mpg if you go with the 265's it shouldn't mess with your mileage. Now that I have the front end up a little taller I do have less mpg so I can't really give you an accurate mpg. I'd give or take one mpg with the new rims because they are wider.

It's been a while since I've last posted an update because well... life happens. But after about 5000mi and a few off-roading days the suspension began to squeak on me. It all had me scratchin my head. Turns out(I didn't know this) when you install new control arms you're supposed to hand tighten the bolt that holds them up, put the wheels back on a drive it about a mile to let the suspension settle THEN tighten them up with the truck setting in a resting position. :goingcrazy: also my passenger front leaf bushing has a bit of a creaky sound when I lightly accelerate, anybody know what that could mean? its not cracked or blown but it creaks I can fix it with WD-40 to make it go away but it eventually comes back.

today threw Sparkles up on stands to get going on the last few kinks with the new suspension.IMG_1594.jpg

And for fun built a whip mount for when I take Sparkles out to the dunes in a few weeks...

Once again it has been a long time since my last post but a few things have happened since my last.

Took the truck out to Glamis and showed it a good time back in march

also who can appreciate cars with big engines doing wheelies??
    IMG_1685.jpg

After the trip out to glamis I decided to invest in another toy:kona:
    IMG_1701.jpg

After a few weeks of procrastination I then decided to finish a little project I had started. It isnt perfect but hey how many people can say they built their truck parts with their own two hands?

    IMG_1768.jpg

After I got it all bolted up it was time to test it in the best way possible:mudding:excuse some of the poor quality...

And that concludes my update on where the truck stands now! Although, Theres going to be more mods in the very near future:sawzall:
