I'm looking to see what leaf packs provide the greatest amount of lift without having to do a custom order from alcan.

So far it seems like the all pro leaf pack is 3"s?

    Thanks

Dakar? I thought is was anyway. Dakar with an AAL is super super heavy duty. Like, if you actually need to use that kind of resistance then maybe welding the frame a bit would be good too. I had Dakars with no AAL with a Four Wheel Camper fully loaded with Timbren bump stomps and it rode like a champ. I was definitely beyond payload capacity with that rig and set up. Everything was perfect.

Sorry- it seems lift is the biggest concern. I still would have thought Dakar but maybe Im just a true loyalist :)

Yeah lift is the biggest concern. I've been looking at the dakars as well

Dakars are 3 with the additional leaf. Allpro expo pack makes 4 inches of lift on a stock truck but it would ride like crap. with an additional 500 pounds of weight you will have 3 inches of lift.

+1 on Dakar w/AAL. You'll get plenty of lift. It will have a great lean forward appearance. I've had that set up twice before and it was nearly too much. I weighted down the bed of truck for better ride quality and didn't even elect to have the AAL on the build that carried our camper because it was just over kill. I think you'd be really pleased with it. Furthermore, the quality and testing the Dakars go through is so promising. I always felt like I was buying the best of the best when I put those on. Best of luck in your hunt !

I have had the Dakar's with the extra leaf. Ive had the setup 3 years and its starting to sag. I only have around 2 inches of lift. Im going to try out the @allpro expos next. My bumper is around 200. spare is 100 and the camper is heavy.

Go with the expos. I have run both the allpro std's and the expos and there wasn't hardly any difference in ride.

Do you think the expos would be a better bet for me...I have a steel plate rear and sliders as well as a full size 35 on a tire rack and a tool box

Im surprised to hear it. I had a four wheel camper living on one of my truck's for the same time window and it "settled" but never lost even a notable amount. Have you experienced the expos yet?

    Wrecked!
Ive been running them for a few yrs now. I dont carry weight daily but i do alot. And when loaded down they ride nicely unloaded there a bit stiff. So far no sag.
