i have an 07 2.7L 4 cylinder. It seems as though when I brAka, I get a slight vibration in the pedals and steering wheel. It's not every time-very sporadic. Almost like it wants to die; think stopping in a manual tranny with no clutch pressed down. I mention idle because it seems to vibrate a bit at idle too. I didn't know of this was normal or what? I'm sure it's not an alignment, balance, suspension issue.

My mechanic looked it over and said there were no issues. It's only got 48K on it. Any suggestions? I should add that I'm ocd about the thing running perfectly, so am overly sensitive to any creek, rub, tink, or vibration. It's very possible nothing is wrong.

    Thanks.

Do you know if your mechanic looked at the front brake rotors and checked them for slight warping? I'm not sure what to make of the same behavior occurring at idle though . . . could be two separate issues.
