So my family and I are heading down to palm spring for thanksgiving week. My wife and I were debating about heading into the park for a day or two... I have personally never been there and have always wanted to go.. I was wondering if any of you all that live down there want to join us. That is it you have time. I see that they do have some 4x4 trails. Are they hard? What are they like? Thanks ahead of time!!!!!

Berdoo is good. Tight in certain sections and lots and lots and lots of rocks. I locked up the rear to climb up one spot but doable in a stock truck. :D

digging up old thread. What would be a good spot to take my prerunner offroad for a beginner. Just got my truck and put some k02s on. They need to get dirty. Again, no 4x4 but I have limited slip

I go to the desert on my pre runner and make it up almost everything. Just make sure you go with a buddy to get you out of trouble. The red cloud mine road is cool. There are many roads that you can hit with those KO2s. Clearense is your friend. I run 33s.

Here is a video (not mine)

What's around Barstow? It's close by for me to check out on a weekend.

offroad race course for starters, plenty of chase roads and fire roads... lot of rocky spots and a couple sandy washes... some decent kickers for hucking your truck... definitely don't go alone... Mojave Desert can bite back pretty hard...

If you want to go for a quick run one of this days hit me up. Its always good to take your truck out to test what you (as the driver) and the truck can do.
