I am about to add some LED lights to my cupholders and door pockets. My question is, where do I need to tap the wiring into so that they dim with all the other dash lights? Pics would be helpful as well.

I'm going to need a little better description. These are the LED's I'm working with. No switch is being installed.

Sorry, I meant to say pop off an existing switch and tap into the dimmer wires there.

I'll only be tapping into one wire. Which one? A photo would be helpful. Sorry if I'm a bit electrically challenged.

Two wires, a green and a green w/white stripe. Sorry I don't have any pics but you should be able to pop any of the switches off (fogs, e-locker, RSCA, etc.) and find them, if not you can use the HVAC controls they are pretty easy to pop out on the 2nd gens not sure how easy they are on the 2015s

Thanks. Thats a start. The LED lights I have only have two wires, a red and a black. I would've assumed black for ground, red for power. You're saying I need to tap into both the green and green w/white stripe?

Here's the illumination schematic I used to wire up everything to the stock dimmer circuit. This is from a 2010 but I do not believe much has changed to the 15s

Correct, one wire will be the "power" which comes on when you turn your tail or headlights on. The second wire is the variable ground which does the dimming

This helps a bit. I just painted my radio head unit and had to remove the AC panel. Getting to those wire bundles is fairly easy. If I understand it correctly, I can tap one of the solid green or green w/white stripe on the positive side of my LED wires, then the other to ground.

The Positive (red) of your LED should go to the green wire and the negative (black) should be tapped into the green w/white stripe wire. Nothing gets directly hooked to ground.

You're welcome. Here's how I wired a carling switch to work with the dimmer.

Schematic of the switch is below, dimmer light is the bottom of the switch.

Not trying to threadjack but how would you wire this connector up to the dimmer? Would Green go to Green and Red2 go to the Green/White?
