What's with all the 3rd gen complaints?

I picked mine up last week and have 333 miles on it so far and I'm absolutely in love. Shout out to TW for the heads up on checking trans fluid, as well as lubing and torquing u joints etc. Took an incredibly long and hard 20 minutes of laying under the truck waiting for it to come up to temp

I come from a line of thinking that if you are going to own a machine, you better not only know how to, but be comfortable with servicing and maintaining it to bring decades of reliable service. And for that, a HUGE thanks to everyone on here for finding potential maintenance red flags for owners to address. I don't trust the young techs at the stealerships on my pride and joy, its not like they have magical secret knowledge or tools to get the job done. /rant over

Wishing I have more errands to run so I can drive my Taco some more! I love this truck!!!
