Nice truck. Stepsides, flaresides, what ever you want to call em' are some of the nicest out there. Rare breeds. I wouldn't mind finding one like yours..

Not mine but....Figured I'd share since it fits in this thread. I purchased a reg cab last year and of course a family member liked it so much they had to go find one and one up me. Go figure :D. I'll get around to some together pics eventually.

Anyone want to try to convince me on a regular cab 4x4 for next rig. Would probably be a 1st gen or older truck
Currently prefer an access cab since it gives me more protected storage & storage in general

My 2014 was not pre-wired. After reading up on it, it doesn't seem too hard.

My Taco is approaching 50,000 miles. I am planning on changing the differential, transfer case, auto trans fluids and plugs. What fluids and spark plugs would be best for the Taco? I am also looking into getting ready to replace the Dunflops. The local Firestone dealers have Destination LE P245/75/16 for $113 each. Is this a good tire?

The spark plugs are particular to the 4 cylinder (iridium TT or something I just go by the part #). Here's what I use...

    • Spark Plug Torque Specification: 13 ft.lbs.
    • Ignition Coil Bolt Torque Specification: 6.7 ft. lbs.
Front Differential Oil: Mobil 1 75W-90
    • Fill Plug Torque Specification: 29 ft. lbs.
    • Drain Plug Torque Specification: 48 ft. lbs.

Rear Differential Oil: Mobil 1 75W-90
    • Fill Plug Torque Specification: 36 ft. lbs.
    • Drain Plug Torque Specification: 36 ft. lbs.

Transfer Case Oil: Mobil 1 75W-90
    • Fill Plug Torque Specification: 27 ft. lbs.
    • Drain Plug Torque Specification: 27 ft. lbs.
