Rode in a vehicle with Rough Country suspension and I lost some fillings..don't get pro comp either. Mr Salty nailed it that the coils are too stiff at 718lb.

I have one, not the smoothest ride, but it is cheap and gave me the clearance I needed.

ill put it to you like this. i have a 2015 4x4 double cab short bed. i put a 3" rough country lift on it with a set of 285/70/17s. i dont rock crawl, but i do play in the mud. ALOT. and i have had absolutely ZERO problems with that lift kit. i firmly believe that you will be just fine with that kit. i currently have a zone offroad 6" lift on the same truck and i still drive it the same way as i did with the 3" rough country lift

If you go the 5100 and 887 route, be sure the place you have install them will do it. Theres a thread where a couple forum members were denied the install because the fitment of the coil and strut posed a "problem"

Rough Country are awesome, even better when combined with a body lift to make the ride sit even higher

Quick questions! I plan on doing the the exact same thing your are doing. Did you need new UCA's? How's the ride compared to stock? Any issues with the lift?

ive had zero issues with either lift. and no i did not need new UCAs. and the ride is nothing like stock. if you want a smooth ride, go buy a cadillac haha
