Here's the deal. I upgraded my wheels last week at Discount Tire. They told me the stock sensors would fit my new aluminum wheels even though I questioned them due to what I've read online. Long story short, they snapped two of the stems (still intact, but stem rotates independently of sensor) and destroyed the threads on the others while trying to remove them because they were pretty well buggered on the stock wheels. And after all that, they wouldn't fit my new wheels...sweet. I tried re-threading them with a tap & die set, but couldn't get 2 of them threaded and gave up. I'm not sure if these even still work (they worked fine before I had them removed), but if they do I think they would be a good candidate for the TPMS Pipe Bomb mod in which you put all the sensors in a PVC chamber and pressurize it to trick your TPMS system into allowing you to run whatever wheels you want.

Please don't take these just because they're free. But if you could really use these and want to give it a try, let me know and I'll send 'em your way.

    Thanks,
    Josh
