Has anyone done this or priced it out? I assume I can buy the flares from parts take them to a body shop to paint them, remove current flares, get the adhesive tape to apply new ones and I'm good to go? Am I missing anything?

Alternative would be to paint the current off road flares but I think they look a little different and of course are textured where as the Sport flares are smooth.

I guess I could just go tot he body shop and have them do everything. My guess it would be close to $1,000.
I have silver sky, I just think it would look a lot better.

Sorry to start a new thread on this just couldn't find anything via search. But may have been the terms I was using. Id love to swap but not sure who with a prot would wnat black flares. Anybody? Bueller?

It may be worth $1,000 I suppose I could always sell the black flares to someone with an SR.

I would spend the money on suspension upgrades or new wheels and tires.

Thats a lot of money for just different flares.

Except I don't want suspension upgrades or wheels and tires. Yeah I agree a lot of money but way cheaper than the alternative. Trading for a sport.
