    This weekend is going to be spent doing things like cutting grass, paying bills, getting everything ready so that I don't have much to do for the first week or so after I get out of the hospital. So no fun stuff.

    Red River Gorge Truck Meet


    June 18-19th Trail and Camp meet with fellow Tacoma owners

    We will be meeting in Lexington, KY (1hour from the Gorge) Saturday morning and riding over to the Red River Gorge (Slade, KY). The Gorge has camping spots, miles of trails in all difficulty, fantastic scenery, etc.
    If you don't like or enjoy camping, there are several cabins and lodging as well.

    We will be hitting some trails Saturday, camping Saturday night, and more than likely doing some more riding Sunday morning. The meet is just a way to meet fellow enthusiasts around the area, check out everyone's rides, and having a good time. Bring your own food/drinks/beverages/equipment/ and any extra parts.

    We have around 6-8 people that are interested in possibly attending so far. I'm sure that number will change the closer we get to June.

    There's a place called "Roosters" not far from the Expo where the food is good, not very expensive, plenty of ice cold beer, and some fine looking servers! Big tables with lots of room. It would be a great place to group up! In 10 more days, I'll be back to my old self! Everything healing up and I feel GREAT. I'm ready for this to happen! Hope you can make it.

    Working on a second good meet up spot. One is a bar with great food. Other is a restaurant with great food and a bar. Both VERY close to Fairgrounds. I won't be able to do a late night.....4AM start to a 14 hour work schedule the next morning.

    Damn! I actually have a way to go yet! White Castle started giving me a sr discount @ 50. It was still an insult back then! I'll take anything they'll give me now!

    As of 5:15AM this morning, they hadn't started on the hills/track/outdoor demonstration area. Last year it was done 2 weeks before the event.

    Slim (VERY slim) chance I might end up there Friday about 3PM. Looking most of the day on Saturday. Got a great place to eat and have a cold one just minutes away.
