I'm wondering how long it will work for.

Almost bought an elite controller. Played with one at GameStop and I really like it. But that $150 price tag.

Last controller I bought for the PC was a PS controller clone from Interact. Company must of went under before they could write XP drivers.

Now I just use an actual PS controller.

Any of you guys have an inflatable movie screen for doing outdoor movies? I'm looking to do something like that but need some experienced opinions.

Anybody interested in an asus laptop?

    Model:Q550LF

    Specs:
    Intel i7 4th gen
    Nvidia geforce 745m w/ 2gb mem
    8 gb DDR3 ram
    1tb HDD
    15.1 in screen
    Windows10

Has 3 usb ports, cd drive, HDMI port, ethernet port, headphone jack, built in microphone and webcam.

Been used mostly for homework, some video editing and some gaming. Always used with a coolling pad. Everything works and ive had no issues with it, i just want to do more gaming so its time for a desktop. It has a few vinyl stickers on top, they can definately be removed.

Comes with cooling pad and a little sub. Can include a laptop backpack for the right price.

    Looking for ~$500

I recently found this gem and wanted to share. Google photos has a desktop app that will let you upload all of your pictures on your PC to the cloud. You have 2 options to choose from.

    1. Unlimited free uploads, but google will compress the files.
    2. Pay for storage space and upload all files at full size.

The compressed files look good when I printed an smaller than 8x10. After 8x10 there is some noticeable distortion in the print, but hey it's a free backup.

The nice thing is that you still have a back up of all of your photos for free. Mine has been running for 7 days now non stop uploading over 700,000 pics and so far so good.

It's nice to know that I always have a backup of my pics somewhere.

Nice. There used to be a utility called GMailFS that did something similar, but with all files. Don't think it works anymore though.

So I redbox'd Doom this 3 day weekend and it was pretty cool. I started it on Ultra-Violence which is the hardest they let you set it 1st pass. Im glad I didnt get to set it more difficult cause even at this setting it gets progressively more difficult and the demons keep getting bigger, nastier and more of them in quick waves as you traverse Mars and Hell.
I didnt finish it, Im maybe 3/4 complete. Ill rent it again over the 4th of July weekend and finish it.
I dont think I would buy it at 99$ which includes DLC just yet. Lets see what ID & Bethesda add on before I pick it up used. Ive always been a fan of Doom with the exception of the 360 version. This new one is the Doom I played in my teens but with todays technology. Not many games are worth that kind of cash to me anymore. Knowing that by xmas it will be half price or less.

That's good to know. I was watching people on Twitch.tv play it and the graphics looked good. When I watched anyone play it they mostly were running backwards shooting trying to just stay away from the demon's. I think after talking to you about it I'm going to pass. Bummer, was excited about Doom.

You definitely need to adopt a stick n move tactic to stay alive. Incorporate jumps, jukes and the level to block you from getting flanked by fireball happy imps and big giant runners looking to stomp you in later levels. As you progress they get bigger and start to fly and teleport around you. There is no hiding for long, they will be hunting you and if you get surrounded by their giant tanks and fast movers, youre fucked. I play it the same I did on the original, the difference is now we have a full level with layers and levels to jump though and collect health to stay alive.

    Its a fast game!

I think ID did good in making the game better and more like the original. Sure the story is the same, someone opened Hell, and youre there to close it.
But the mini rune challenges, secret hidden orignal levels filled with goodies to help you supply for the next fight around the corner. Swap weapons and weapon mods to stay alive cause ammo is finite
