I gave it to my father in law in sep.14 but it's still running great 06 with 430000. I put 405000 on it before I gave it to FIL. Still on original clutch no issues mechanically just needs a new Cat. Always used mobil 1 changed between 10k and 15k.

    UPDATE 1-22-18 Now I have 187,000

Glad I did this, its helping me track my miles/time. Will try to update every year.

Didn't realize the OP was asking about issues with truck.
So far only replaced both barrings in front, back now needs them.
I do the 80,000 mile all fluid change at the dealership, yes I know... The rest I do myself. Happy as can be, if it was a Chevy I would be going on my third truck!

2009 regular cab, 82,000 miles. I use AmsOil changed once per year (I only drive it about 5,000 miles/year and AmsOil is rated for 1 year or 25,000 miles). Haven't had to add oil between changes. The only repair was to clean the contacts on the HVAC blower resister and a new battery after 7 years. I changed the spark plugs at 75,000 miles as the old ones were looking marginal but still serviceable.

2015 DC approaching 17,000 miles. No issues yet. Just the rear clanks when going over railroad tracks and stuff. Not bad. Seems to be a common occurrence with these vehicles.

2006 w/ 150k. Besides regular maintenance, I have only had to make 3 repairs. I replaced the front differential. I imagine, or at least like to think, it went bad due to previous owner's neglect. Getting ready to replace the clutch due to a failing throw out bearing, and I am going to have to plug in the modulator that bypasses the secondary air injection system, as that has failed on me. Considering both that and the throw out bearing are very common "minor" issues (if you know the right people and don't get gouged by a mechanic or dealer), I would say the truck has done pretty well, especially considering how hard I drive it.

Had mine rebuilt after 202k due to bent rod. It looked almost brand new inside.

91,000 miles and I changed the water pump at 85,000 miles because there was dried coolant residue on the weep hole. I changed the belts and a squeaky idler pulley while I was at it. Previously I dabbled in 2nd gens but a white single cab in the correct size for a Toyota truck is what I have lusted after since I was a kid. I like a truck that's small, sturdy and simple; not large, flimsy and complicated like the new Tacomas. "Whitey" is my forever truck unless Toyota or Nissan does something amazing and gets back to their roots with a true small pickup truck you can get with crank windows, stick shift and manual transfer case. I'm not counting on that ever happening though. Americans like their trucks like they like their jeans; expensive and bedazzled.
