Hello guys new on the forum, this is my first Toyota truck. It's a 2001 w/ about 168k on it. Got it for about 8k & an 11 hour round trip.Came with the factory wheels, chrome accessories (step side bars & a big chrome push bar) factory wheels with bald at3s. Since then, new level 8 mk6 wheels (16x8 0 offset) with factory tire sizing Cooper ATP 's (got the tires for about $330 new so I couldn't pass them up) & 4 new Bilstein 4600 series shocks. My first question is how I can add a rack to my trucks shell. It seems as though it has previously had one and removed. Any input at this point is appreciated. Thanks!

    Too few to list.
Welcome. Good year for a 1st gen. Some people just drill holes and put a rack on their shells. From what I know, shells that have racks from manufacturer are actually reinforced to handle weight.

Beautiful truck. I got a camper shell on mine too. Been looking at scoring a deal from a parts 4runner for a rack. What did you find?

great looking truck! Looks like the previous drill holes were filled. You could aim to just re-drill through those, but be sure to get some silicone /sealant so you don't have leaks into the bed.
