I'm on a cooking binge today. Had half a smoked pork butt left over from last weekend. We had some extra roasted hatch green chilies that we froze from our last trip to NM. Chopped it all up, added some rotel, corn, cream of chicken, and some spices.

Should turn out pretty good after 8 hours on the slow cooker.

The FJ guys are badass. I don't think I've ever met one I didn't like. Still a good day of wheeling. My headlight killed itself, so I drove 3 hours in the dark with one, but that was it.

Wheeled with you guys a few times. All good. Rug Road was good with several quite tricky sections. Ran it twice in 2015. Lots of scratches, but no damege. I was cautious.

This was a preemptive resupply run. There is still a fridge full of beer at home.

Thanks, I had never seen that term used before. Yeah, will be staying away from anything that doesn't have a clean title.

There's also a few members on here that are absolutely rock solid in knowledge, coaching, ability, spotting, driving, and organizing on here. @RPS1030 and @05TacoRunner come to mind off the bat. I know there are more, but those two are great to wheel with and I trust them in those situations.
Tons others great to wheel with, but those guys should be pres and vp lol

Typically we like to have the less equipped rigs or more green drivers somewhere in the middle so that the lead and the tailgunner can communicate with eachother and both can provide support if needed.

Ryan's point on making sure you can always see the rig behind you is huge. We've seen people make a wrong turn and be lost for hours.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with asking for a spot. We do it often ourselves, better to be safe than sorry. Plus more time for pics! There are and will be people with more knowledge on the trails who typically don't mind sharing. There's also those who are afraid to chime in when they need to. Please don't be that person. Noone is judgemental
