Found my A/C LEAK!!! Need help finding this one part (LOTS OF PICTURES)

Looking for the above part minus the the expansion valve (part with the red X through it)

I have an A/C leak at the switch thing circled in the picture.

The two lines going to the expansion valve in my truck have a plastic tab of sorts (like the metal plate looking piece attached to the top of the expansion valve in the picture) I tried to separate it but im worried im going to break it. Does anyone know where I can but this line? or the switch/socket (whatever its called) that I have circled? I do not have a dealership near me and I can seem to find the piece online (specifically Rock Auto where i bought the rest of my A/C stuff)

 

Here are more pictures after I dissembled everything, I am thinking I replace both lines just to be safe. Again, anyone know or have part numbers for these two lines and the pressure switch?

 

Here is where I believe the leak is and possibly a hole in the smaller line just judging by the UV Dye.

 

I would try a wrecking yard.
The switch does come off.
Use a wrench in the lower section , where the switch screws on, and a socket to remove the switch.

 

I was able to get the sensor/switch off, I replaced the o-ring and its still leaks. I am pretty sure there is a hole in the hardline under the rubber insulation stuff wrapped about the line. I think ill just try to pressure test both lines and JB weld the leaks I find.

I paid 5 bucks for the line I needed at the wrecking yard.
Took less than an hour to replace, recharge and reinstall the grill and jumper.
Darn 95 has a couple of clips that you can't get to right below the top edge of the bumper.

None of the wrecking yards near me have Tacomas ever so that's not an option. I guess ill have to whip out the JB Weld and hope for the best.

Had a leak in the same hard line, right where the line bends under the insulation.

Like the others said best deal is to find one at a wrecking yard. Part of the case/enclosure was cracked on mine, so rather than pay sky high prices at the dealer (or anywhere else really) picked up a used complete assembly for $50 out of a 5lug.

Same parts under the dash for all first gen Tacoma (5lug and 6lug), just make sure the fitting matches some have a clip on fitting

The plastic flange that attatches the lines to the expansion valve does come apart. Carefully pry back the tabs on the side as you slide the two halves apart.

Good luck with the repair. Nothing to loose with trying the JBWeld except some freon and time. Let us know how it goes.

 

Well here is the JB WELD fix ^^^^^

Just covered the entire line with it. After removing the pipe I couldn't see a hole or crack so it must expand under pressure and then leak. but the good news is shes fixed, a/c has been fairly cold all week! I am going to check the pressure in the system next weekend. Replace the dryer since the system was open for over a week I suspect the new dryer has been ruined, I suspect this why the AC is only cold and not ICE COLD like i hoped it would be after replacing practically every component to the AC system.
