My 02 forerunner will hesitate periodically when accelerating. It may only do this a few times a day and sometimes more frequent. I have replaced the fuel pump and fuel filter and upon replacement of parts, it did fine for a short time but started doing the same thing. The hesitation is only for a few seconds whether starting off or on interstate. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated ! Thanks

A little more information would help.

    What motor?
    What transmission?
    When did it start?
    How many miles?
    Check engine light on?
    Maintenance history?
    Modifications?

when i had a hesitation issue, it turned out to be a gunked up MAF sensor... when you clean it, make sure to reset the truck by disconnecting the battery before cleaning...
