    Hey TW!

Firstly, thank you for all the support, resources, community, and experience that's shared on here. Whenever I have Tacoma related questions, I come here first. All of this collective knowledge has been monumental in making the best of what we can all agree is a truly remarkable vehicle.

Because of all I've gleaned from TW, it's time I give back as well. A buddy and I have started up a blog/group called the Nooblanders. We're a bunch of regular guys with regular full time jobs that love adventure, the great outdoors, and getting lost in the middle of nowhere. We don't have unlimited budgets. We don't always get top of the line products. And we've often had to figure out a lot of things on our own. Matt has way more experience with working on anything with an internal combustion engine. I've mostly built computers and bikes up until a few years ago. Matt has a 2007 JK and I'm the proud owner of my 2011 Tacoma.

On our blog, you'll find gear reviews, gear selections, product comparisons, and some of our adventures that we've embarked on - as well as some that we're looking forwards to! You'll soon (hopefully) also find install write ups and videos of various things that are probably second nature to most of you, but to newbies like myself, have no clue where to start. A lot of our parts and accessories come with confusing instructions for newbies and I know I would have appreciated a ridiculously simple, yet helpful, video on a few things.

    Disclaimer:
NOOBlanders...meaning we're newbies... you will see a lot of things done that you could have done better. We make mistakes. A lot of mistakes. But that's how we've learned and that's how we'd like to give back so other newbies can have an easier time working on their rigs! Feedback is always greatly appreciated - that's why it's a forum!

If it's preferrable, I can post the write ups directly on TW.

Anyways, if you've made it this far, thanks so much for reading. I hope the experience we give back will be helpful to someone out there!

    Cool guys!
The Alberta Rockies are my playground also!
Live south of you in Lethbridge.
We usually head to the Crowsnest pass for our adventures.
    Good luck with your adventures!

We thought about it but we're posting in a few forums - Expedition Portal - as well as a few Jeep ones Matt's a part of so we figured we'd centralize our posting.

Lexicon, awesome to hear another in our parts of the mountains! Looking to do a few test runs down in Crowsnest - Matt's got his mind set on the South Castle road near Beaver Mines that got washed out...stopped us last time but we're looking to head back and get around that spot. Any favourite spots for camping/wheelin' you like?

Ya! grew up with a second home in the pass. LOTS of awesome wheelin' down there.
South Castle should connect up with the Lynx creek rd. heading North. Some great camping spots along the river there. Lots of logging roads etc.
Tried the plane crash trail? Never wheeled it myself but hiked it! Gonna take the taco up there this summer.
Theres so many trails there and not enough time.. lol
Lots North of Coleman and Blairmore Too.
