After reading through the forums I see that there are numerous issues with iPhone and Entune comparability.

However, I can't find any info on my specific issue. When making/receiving phone calls over Bluetooth (iPhone 6, iOS 9.3.2, TRD Off-road) an extremely loud buzzing is heard on both sides of the phone line. Bluetooth audio streaming works great, text messages register, just the phone feature is useless. Same issue arises when using Siri as well.

Has anybody else had this issue or point me in the right direction?

    Thanks!

This may sound stupid but have you done a hard reboot on your phone and tried it again? A lot of these kind of issues are the phones issues.

I have done multiple reboots and disconnect/re-pair the phone. It also extends to my wife's iPhone 6.

Have you run the entune updates?

Interesting. First I've heard of this. I use an iPhone 5 without this issue. Getting the text/connectivity to work was a bitch, but no buzzing sound.

I guess that's the second issue. Download prompt pops up, downloads, but the install is unsuccessful. Tried about a half dozen times.

Is there a way to download updates to a flash drive and install through the usb port?

You need to have the entune app installed, have the entune app registered to your truck using the vin number, and be plugged in to the usb with your sync cable. Once you do this the update then you can connect using just Bluetooth. I'm not sure about the update via usb.

The phone call issue now extends beyond just the iPhone. I paired a friends android device and the same high pitch buzz persists when making phone calls.

With regards to the update, I have registered the app and the unit recognizes that an update is required. The unit will download the update and will begin to install the update. At about 44% complete a notification appears saying the update was unsuccessful.

The only other thing I would try is disconnecting the battery of the truck for a few minutes to see if that clears the error. If not I would take it to the dealer
