So after months of dealing with the side stripe that came with my truck, I caved and bought a 3M Stripe removal wheel. Certain parts that were protected from the sun came off pretty easy, like under the side mirrors, however the rest of the stripe didnt come off as I would've hoped. It left it like this upload_2016-5-28_16-9-12.jpg
I tried goo gone hoping that it was just leftover adhesive, but its not. Its really thin and can hardly feel it, which is probably why the removal wheel cant get it off. Any help would be very appreciated!

Currently taking off decals. New wiper blades and vent visors
Heat gun and harbor freight body scraping scrapers. They're plastic and made for that exact purpose.

3M also make a spray on adhesive remover.
You spray it on, let it soak and then with a plastic scraper , remove the goo.
Plastic scrapers that are used for bondo will work.
I use single edge razor blades,
Take a piece of 220 sand paper, lay it on a flat surface, then take the new blade , and draw it backwards (away from the sharp edge ) one time on the sand paper.
This leaves you with a sharp edge , that will not gouge the paint.
Use soft pressure on the blade.
