Norcal Spotted and BS Thread

No plans at all, but who knows in 5 years. Only reason we would sell is to move outside the city more and gain more property. We both debated moving more rural with a few acres, but figured we wouldn't have much time to utilize the extra land with two young kids. Other than that we would have no reason to leave.

 

Same here that's one of the reasons we are selling. That and 1000 sq/ft with a kid gets really small really fast. Also I want a garage I can work in.

 

I would love to move back to the Santa Cruz area too, but the extra 30-40 minutes of commute kills it.

i have been tiring to talk the wife into the same thing but the house we bought has been in her family since 1954. it was her grandparents when they passed her dad got it and decided to sell it. so we bought it. worked out for us. as it was just starting to climb back up. got rid of the pmi 8 months later. but its 900sq ft and only single detached garage on 6600sq ft lot. lots of yard on house but one of the best neighborhoods in Sacramento.

 

We've gone from 2700 sqf to 2200 to 1800 to 1300 and now about 900.
I dont spend money on things I don't want to impress people I don't even like. No useless chachkis. Nothing collects dust.
3 acres. No neighbors and the Mr. can piss off the porch.

Had one. Tried it. Hated it.

It does not work like they say and takes much "practice." I got tired of pee running down my leg and taking a second shower...

I wanted to say thanks for the good advice. Picked up my primer and liner and started to wet sand the sliders. I'll continue the work this weekend. The left one is pretty much prepped for primer.
