I like these that Ruffwear makes. And I love rope leashes, instead of a regular flat ribbon types.

My favorite leash (have the same one in red). KONG does not make these anymore, and I wish I bought 5 of these for the future use, even though the original one i bought 3 years ago is still fine.

On the way to work this morning. My daughter thought she'd look good in a boa.

Beautiful dog. My buddy has pair of corso's and his male Ghost looks a lot like yours. Get ready for a horse in your house! Ghost is just under 11 months and already up to 100 lbs with lots more to go. Thank god he is a big baby if he had a mean bone in him he would be a monster to deal with.

I'll be using rope so that ruffwear clip wouldn't work (even if I could buy it, which I can't)

My dog has gotten out of bolt snaps so I was thinking a regular trigger snap might be more secure?

I was also looking into that Kong Frog clip but it's 3x more expensive and it doesn't swivel which some people love...it'd be one strong leash though!

It does add up, but planned accordingly and he has to eat premium food. Had to slow the plans for the truck. He will get to be about 27" at the withers and around 130 LBS. From 12-14 weeks his weight doubled, these guys don't mess around!

I went overkill and made both his leash and 10 inch lead out of 550 cord and used locking caribiners for the clips.

Ladybird, or as I call her Mamabird, or Mrs. Bird. She turned 13 back in March. If I had one wish, it would be to spend 13 more years with her, she is the sweetest dog I've ever met. Her hips are getting bad, she's got cataracts so she doesn't see as well as she used to, and I think she might be going a bit senile in her older days. No matter though, as soon as I get home from work her tail starts going and doesn't stop 'til bed time. Never knew it was possible to get so attached to a dog. Wish I could find a picture to post of her before she started going grey, I think they're all on my computer at home.

No choice, because he was the one the breeder wanted for their show program otherwise they'd have been left.

    a bunch of new/used parts....and some skids.
I've transitioned both my dogs to Lupine Leashes. really comfortable and can't beat a good guarantee. Cheap prices and they don't weigh too much. I noticed everyone from VT to CT has one once we started using them. I dig the clip design but sometimes it snags on my aussie's easy-walk.
