Is the only spot that is fighting you that front bolt? Everything else good to go?

That's as far as I got. Got everything unhooked, put the carrier bearing support bolt in, then got the front L bracket style that bolts to the trans (which happened by miracle easily). I think it was step 9 maybe, where you go up through the boxed frame with the welded nut on the long rod. After that, I just took it all back apart and put it back together. I ran out of time and patience :) and had to drive back home.

It's definitely tough, but that's what makes them so good. It's doable, I promise.

Oh god. That part was the WORST. My sliders took like 5 hours to install. I taped the welded nut onto a long screwdriver, and used that to hold it in place. After about 30 minutes and A LOT of swearing, I finally got that fucker on. It was so satisfying. The other side is a billion times easier because the brake lines aren't in the way.

Hey, just a heads up there are a couple of us in SW MO that could help ya if you want to keep them. I would love to buy them, but I have the OEM black ones already and would need to sell those first to have enough cash to buy them.

There's a bracket holding the brakes lines right at the opening of the boxed section. If you take the bolt out of that bracket, you can easily move the brake lines. It's still more difficult than the passenger side but a hell of a lot easier than trying to wedge your hand in between the brake lines.

Whoops. Oh well! There was no way in hell I was getting my fat hand in there, so taping it to something was the only option I saw at the time.

Haha yea. I did the same thing the first few times before I noticed how easy it was to get the brake lines out of the way.
