Ehhh depends who's in charge for the day, I've seen people get away with some pretty bad parking over there
    Wouldnt risk it though.
Besides even if people did do that, once the lot is full the entrance is blocked off so we couldnt get in anyways:bananadead:

LOL!!! I know a few spots that are free, but it is a pretty good walk!!! I don't particulary care for those spots though for an all day thing???!!! I'll find a residential area near the beach, but it is kinda hard to pick an "off parking lot" parking spot when it is unsure where the spot is going to be, if that makes any sense? As far as I know, I'd be parking a mile or more away, LOL!!! I'm hoping it is somewhat near Tower#18? Been a while, but I believe the burnpits and VB nets are near there as well??? I'm usually north of the pier as I have had better luck MD'ing in that area. Anyways...

See, I was partially correct, LOL!!!:rofl::rofl: Btw, I didn't necessarily mean "you", just making a point, more or less, about "me". People are people and that is all good with me. It is when "I" am pretty much forced to do those things. I've been forced to do shi- too many times and at the point of just F'it... if I don't want to do it then I ain't gonna do it!!! Funny how relatives and/or people don't like and/or are interested in doing the shi- I like to do, but when it comes to them... so, just making a point. A boss once told me that, "Randy, it is very humble of you to be that way, but there comes a time where you have to think about yourself as well..." and this was in regards, at the time, about a lunch/dinner he asked the crew to attend afterwork and I felt "bad" because I couldn't pay for it and denied his request, even though he was going to pay for everything. So, just to clarify things.:thumbsup::fistbump:

So much bs and I'm not involved with any of it. Wtf? That needs to change! :D

@WileECoyote paper plates and utensils is a great idea. I'm not sure if anyone else thought of those. I know I didn't :anonymous: by the sound of it you've got the Taco chips covered so I'll just get some regular chips for variety. By the way you're probably going to have to run by @Nicklovin's and kidnap him early. He's scared of the sun or something and doesn't want to have fun with us at the beach until later:facepalm: :pout:

Don't need a "deep breath" because I'm all good believe it or not!!! LOL!!!:rofl::rofl: I'm thinking about MD'ing north of the pier later today since I haven't been able to do anything like for quite some time. I know a few people hit the beaches, but they hit the "wet sand". My MD'r is NOT meant for saltwater hunting as many MD'rs similar to mine are not. Even ones with, what is called "ground balancing" control will have issues!!! Not saying the ones with ground control can't, but don't be surprised by it either!!! Basically, you need a PI (Pulse Induction) machine, which I have as well, but it takes MANY, MANY, MANY HOURS of practice to get it down, let alone retrieving items with waves crashing on you!!! I have about 2-4hrs with my PI, LMAO!!! Plus, I need to buy a smaller coil for it anyways because I hate the stock one that it came with... too heavy and really meant for land use, NOT "fast moving water"!

BUT, with that said, I finally had a job interview last friday as well that went pretty well and very promising. In either case, still looking/searching on-line and even on-foot, LOL!!! Getting ready to leave for a few hours to do errands. Be back on later in the evening unless I hear back from you or Nick? :drunk::thumbsup:

He said in an earlier post that he would let people know "where" as soon as he gets there and is going to try to be there by 7am, of course, wherever "there" is at the moment, LOL!!! I hope this ain't gonna be another AB run!!! Taco camps ALL OVER that damn desert, LMAO!!!

Just finished up a walk on the beach with my lady before she walks across PCH to go to work at the Hilton! We stopped at Naugles(been open for almost a week now and is owned by the Hilton)! Was looking at the menu and said"This Better Be Authentic Naugles And I Want A Hat"!Sure enough the food was authentic and the dude standing near the menu(Christian Ziebarth)is the new owner and has the rights to this classic grub place before it became "Del Taco"!He hooked me up a hat and realized that i truly knew what Naugles was back in the day!Damn i guess i am getting up there in age!Haha!I used to ditch grade school back in the days cause i was craving Naugles!Well it's back and some of you most likely will remember Naugles and then there's some who only know of Del Taco!image.jpg image.jpg

Couldn't find the Taco Doritos??? I'll go buy some paper plates and what not then, just to cover, well, "me" at least, LOL!!! I mean, I'll have plenty of extra, but just in case other people don't bring them at least I know I'm good-to-go, LMAO!!!

Nick, it'd be like trying to break him out of prison, LMAO!!! I would need an IMF group for that job, LOL!!! When the sun comes up, the day is already starting to be wasted in my eyes!!! LOL!!!

OP updated with time I will be arriving to reserve a couple fire pits. I assure you all I will post the exact location of where this will all go down at Huntington Beach. Most definitely shooting for as south as possible away from Main Street and south of the power plant. In addition to posting here what lifeguard towers and cross street we are by I will dropping a a pin and inserting to this thread.

Firewood.... if everyone bring a bit of fire wood that would be fantastic.

Greg @goblue82 be there early, I've heard there's almost always a line before Sun-up to get pits! I'm aiming for an early arrival as well.

For the record. Just stating again. Mike and I will be there hopefully around 2, I'm picking up the rear bumper beforehand then we're booking it up to HB. Bringing a table, chips, salsa (paper bowls for said salsa) I'll be crock potting some bomb ass shredded chicken all day tomorrow and bringing that for tacos (bringing tortillas, lettuce, pico, etc.) not saying I'll have enough to feed the lot of ya but at least we're bringing something :D also, EZ up, sunscreen.

Does anyone know if there is a boardwalk along the beach so we can wheel all our shit to the spot or will we have to hoof it on sand only? Please and thank yaaaaaaaa
