So recently, I sold my beloved 2006 f150 2wd for a 2014 Tacoma Baja edition. I couldn't be happier. 4wd, plenty of power and hopefully the incredible reliability toyotas are known for! It will mainly be off-roaded in mud and gravel. Any tips to not screw it up while out on the trails? the only thing that scares me about taking it wheeling is the exhaust pipe that passes right by the transfer case hangs lower than the crossmember, seems like it could get smashed easily.

Congrats and welcome to the club. You can get skid plates or reroute the exhaust pipes. I'm sure you will enjoy your truck. Post pic of your truck.

Sorry, none of these pics are very interesting. With school and everything I haven't been able to take it anywhere. I did climb up that rock slope in the top pic. I actually let off the gas as I was going up (had it in four low, a trac on) and idk if it was the hill start assists or what but when I let off the gas it screamed at me(buzzed loudly) a light came on the dash and some terrible noises that sounded like brakes slipping. It was all very brief bc I hit the brakes real quick so I didn't get to see the light. Was all this crap happening bc of the hill start assist?

Congrats and welcome! Might have been the traction control system. If I forget to disable it, my truck screams at me wheel doing a U-turn in the rain. ;)

Haha, I've had that traction control light come on quite a bit in the rain. These goodwrench (I know it's Goodrich) ko's are very slick in the rain. Thanks dude

When your stopped hold the traction control button until the panel says "off". Then its fun time. :burnrubber:
