Can any 3rd Gen owners quantify a suspicion that the 3rd generation is reverting back to a slightly smaller truck? Not to the point of a 1st Gen. but there has been discussion among some of us here that the 3rd generation is smaller overall than the 2nd Gen.? Maybe just the design makes it look that way, more streamlined? Comments?

It feels bigger than the second gen. I can't confirm if it's wider but it feels like it is.

    5 inches across the board.

Unless you don't trust Toyota Motor Corp.

I've owned a hilux, first and a second generation, and now a third gen. The size feels about the same as the second generation. Interior feels roomier but that is just the layout. It is definitely not approaching the size of the first gen.
