Leaving in a few weeks for the west coast. Straight shot out, wandering upon arrival.

Drove West last fall for work on a 'vegetable' farm in my '06 4 cyl tacoma rc. Got great mileage. This time I'll be hauling a homemade tear drop trailer, weighing in loaded around 1,200 lbs.

Just looking for various pieces of advice and tips for a beginner to towing. Trying to start small. Also new to the taco community. Pleasure to be here.

*Side note* Found a nice paint by rustoleum, high performance enamel, that matches my truck incredibly well. Rolled it onto a PMF (poor man's fiberglass) surface. Worked great.

    Cheers
