Yeah I got you confused with the guy who started the thread. He too had a T100.

I think I did okay. Sold it for $12,000 to a dude on Craigslist. It did have a new frame and all the goodies I added over the years. It also had 170k on it. Don't know any other vehicles you could get that kind of cash out of

No comparison in power. The taco had 240 hp/6 spd manual. The taco pulled hard I never felt short on power.
The t100 was 190 hp 3.4 4spd auto. But it was very well built, made in Japan. Never gave me any trouble. I had a lift and 32" bfgs on it and a jardine exhaust. Back then there were no forums and online market was in its infancy. I got my parts from an awesome company called Downey off road, strictly Toyota stuff. They were awesome to deal with. They are long gone now I think.

Getting off topic a bit but, we have a 2010 tundra at work. Short bed reg can 4x4 5.7. That truck flies. It's scary fast, I'm sure it would be a good tow vehicle. But, you can't put any weight in it. 500+lbs and the tail is dragging. My Tacoma held the same weight better for sure and the t100 was better than it.
Bottom line if you are going to buy a 1/2 ton full or mid size no body does it better than Toyota.
Some day I'm gonna get this
Guy next town over made a "McFly Toyota" the truck was incredible. Timeless design that is perfect. Plus solid front axle

Ironically for the first time in I don't know how long today I saw a T100 in traffic. A black 4x4 extra cab

The old Taco still looks good, the new 4 runner looks sweet, and after 3 kids your wife is still a hotty! Congrats on all accounts!
