Took the truck to Toyota dealership for the leaf spring replacement as directed by the recall...the new springs absolutely SUCK! Don't waste your time with this crappy fix from Toyota corporate unless you just want it documented for the carfax report or something. The replacement springs set the rear at full 1.5 inches lower than the original/stock TRD sport springs do which makes the ass sag SIGNIFICANTLY. It looks ridiculous. If I wanted my truck to look/ride like a baja pre runner, I would have let one of these little convict employee auto shops have at it. The springs are also super squishy. Feels like I'm running over downed trees when I hit simple little speed bumps. When I complained to the service managers, they told me there was nothing they could do and to just take it to a suspension shop to have a lift block installed. Guess its just time for a complete suspension overhall. Thanks for the motivation Toyota!

Thanks. I'll look into that add a leaf option as well. Though, just looking at it, the leafs they installed don't appear to have much room for another leaf in the bracket. There is maybe a 1/4th inch left in there to play with. But I'm no expert. I dunno anything. I'll find a suspension guy and get it right.
