image.jpgI promised my wife I would make her favorite pie today while I wait for garage door installers. Fortunately for me I am not a big fan of strawberry rhubarb.

I liked your post because I agree. They can keep the strawberry/rhubarb pies.

It like eating celery with sugar on it. Don't get it.

Just a bunch of old crap
4 eggs and 32oz of water so far today. Got some bulk in my system from the past week that I'm looking to purge. Gotta up the fiber now. I'm thinking celery and broccoli...

But, I lost .3# since yesterday even after that demonic piece of pizza and a ribs/red potatoes dinner.

Good timing! I just started going after losing some extra pounds. I'll need to get my current weight at the gym tonight, but I'd ballpark 235. (Was 245 about three weeks ago!)

I'm 6' 1" and my goal weight is 200. I'm doing low-carb, high-fat (~5/30/65 macros) as well as going to a climbing gym and some lifting/cardio.

Just had lunch with the missus at a local organic foods grocer. Hell of a salad bar- I forgot how good it was. Had a piece of broiled cod with bok-choy and a salad. Man nothing tastes better than garden radishes and greens. Damn good..

I just went to a similar spot here near my office. Just missed breakfast (aka bacon & eggs) so I was looking over my options for low-carb meals. Noticed a <$5 kids' meal that had grilled chicken with grilled veggies... I was afraid it'd be small, but it was two chicken breasts and a hearty side of fresh grilled veggies! One of the better lunches I've had in a while, and definitely way cheaper.

That said, I bet they don't get many 6'1", 235 lbs guys ordering kids' meals.

Nobody is gonna give me grief for taring off some weight? Notice the tare indicator?

Honestly, the phone weighs 8 ounces. I tared out .5 lbs. before getting on the scale.

I'd like to participate in this as I still have more to lose. I've been doing this since December 2015. I posted in the other thread but I'll just start posting here since this one is taking off. I've been documenting my progress by writing down my weight and body fat every morning. I take two body fat measurements. One is done by the scale, the other with a handheld device. I don't think its easy to get an accurate measurement so I just kind of average it together over time. I didn't start keeping track daily until late January. My weight in December was about 220-225lbs 25% body fat.

    25 years old.
    5' 10".
    175 lbs. roughly
    Heaviest adult weight: 235 lbs.
Lightest adult weight: I've only been gaining since high school

Goal weight: More worried about body fat being lower (8-10 %) and putting on muscle.

    http://www.amazon.com/Bigger-Leaner...992597&sr=8-1&keywords=bigger+leaner+stronger

I've been following everything in Bigger Leaner Stronger by Michael Matthews. Really good basic nutrition and work out knowledge for guys like me who don't have a background in this stuff. In high school I just did what the football coaches told me for workouts and my metabolism made up for all the shitty eating. I discovered beer in college and got lazy and fat. Ended up 235 lbs with acid reflux, poor sleep, and other issues. For a lot of reasons I decided to get healthy in fall of 2015. Starting in December or so I ate Bistro MD meals for about a month and a half. Tasted like shit but helped me out by giving me time to focus on other things and not worry about food. It's easy because it's just there and you eat it and don't think about it. I never felt hungry either. I would seriously recommend that book if you're anything close to a "noob" when it comes to nutrition. Probably one of my top 10 smartest purchases of my life. Here's to hoping I put my 2016 Tacoma on that list a few years down the road haha.
