I have a 2007 Tacoma double cab 4x4. The power inverter does not work correctly. Sometimes when I push the button on the dash the lights illuminate and everything works as it should. However, if I turn the inverter on and leave it on for a few minutes without plugging anything in it cuts off and will not come back on. The lights illuminate when the button is depressed but go out when I release the button. The inverter will not come back on for quite a while. (almost seems like something is getting hot and has to cool off) I have replaced the switch in the dash, the relay under the hood, and the inverter itself under the center console with no change in symptoms. Anyone have any suggestions or know what parts are left to change?

Again? Or do you speak of another relay?

Yes I ordered and replaced the relay with a OEM Toyota relay. I have noticed that it does not matter if the inverter is on or off,, it has to do with how long the truck has run. If I get in the truck and it is cold, it works every time. Let the truck run for 15-20 min,,, wont work.
