There's a local guy selling a 2005 Tacoma leveling kit for $100 which is just strut spacers and blocks. My question is will the strut spacer fit the top hat on my 1996 Tacoma or will I have to modify them. Anyone ever done this? ?

Won't work and you really don't want strut spacers and blocks. They ride like crap

They have a different design. That's why you can get 1st gen spacers and 2nd spacers. I'd get some 5100 front struts and an AAL if you just want to level. Spacers are hard on your springs and ride like crap
