They must not have the acetate reed valves in the carb like some saws do that will soften and melt over time from the corn fuel.

I don't have access to the equipment to test it, but there are gas stations in georgia that sell what they claim is 93, 87, and 82 octane ethanol free gas. I've been using both the 93 and 87 with good gas mileage and without any complaints about engine performance.

Same MPGs out of both? I have no complaints either out of E10 87. 20.6 on hwy at 65-75 Last tank. How much more does that ethanol free cost? Around here it is real pricey. North of E10 93 octane pricey.

So far, I've ran one tank of cheap E10, one tank of 87 ethanol free, two tanks of 93 ethanol free, and I just started a tank of 87 ethanol free. So, not a lot of data points. The E 10 got me 19.9 MPG. All of the ethanol free gas is getting around 23-24 MPG. After this tank I'm going to run premium E10 for a couple of tanks, then a couple of tanks of cheap E10. Then I should be able to do a proper cost benefit analysis. The ethanol free gas is more expensive here too. I'm pretty much running it just because I like conducting experiments. If the numbers work out I will keep using it, but 93 ethanol free is about $3.10 a gallon here while regular is around $2.25

My mom would always get 2-3 mpg better with Non eth compared to 10% on her Nissan armada. That's what her display would show anyway..
