Is there a way to tell if the cruise is activated? The light on the dash seems to indicate that the switch has been placed to the "on" position, but it doesn't indicate that the cruise is actually active. I could care less if the cruise is on, but I do care if it is actually active. Stepping on the brake or hitting the cancel button still keeps this light on.

Do I have an additional light that is burned out? I have a 2015.

    None... Yet.
Nothing in my '11 indicates that cruise is engaged, just turned on.

Same on my '07. Now that I think about it, I don't think I've ever seen an indicator for activated cruise on any Toyota I've driven. Just the overall on/off.

Easy fix, if is activated the truck pulls forward.

You would REALLY have to not be paying attention while driving to not know whether your cruise control is active or not. Stop driving. Trade in your Tacoma for a bicycle, we will all be much safer. JK, kinda. :bananadead:

Sounds good. I just think the light to let me know I turned "on" the cruise control is kinda stupid. Who cares if I activated the system to activate the cruise control? I thought maybe there was another light that was broken.

No there is no other light. It is all covered in the owners manual in the glove box.

Embrace the owners manual. That is why they printed it.
