I just changed my oil and found my inner drivers cv boot has a hole.
How long can I drive on this before I get it fixed?
Tomorrow I have to do a 120 mile round trip for work and tues about 20.
Will not be able to fix or get fixed till wed really busy this week.

It is really no big deal to drive with a torn boot unless you are driving in serious rain and get water inside of it. The only other problem is the enormous mess from all of that nasty axle grease flying out of the boot. If you do have to drive in the rain just wrap a bunch of glad cling wrap around the boot...maybe a little electrical tape over the cling wrap just be safe. My buddy drove 1,000 miles with a glad wrap cv boot fix and it actually held up just fine.

    A few things
It will make a mess, but as long as the hole isn't huge and you haven't lost to much grease and stays dry you should be ok. When I punctured one of mine I temporarily used "shoe goo". It's like a rubber cement and is a very temporary solution. It kind of worked for a couple days until I could fix it.

    Thanks guys.
Will put some kind of band aid on it till wed.

Just put temp fix on it.
Plastic wrap and duct tape (DT fixes everything)
