I know it's a bit of a drive for you being in Squamish, but honestly ordering those hubs to a shipping place in Blaine or Pt. Roberts is well worth the drive. I ordered a set of those and they were top notch.

I have family in White Rock so trips across the border are fairly common for me. Looking for something I can get in a couple days or less. Also, not sure my truck will make it that far.

I know there used to be a guy on craigslist selling the assemblies. Not any longer, though, it seems.

I just found this thread. Nice to see some local folks on here! Yeeeew!
Was rallying through about 3 feet of snow up in Whistler today :)
Pretty happy with how the Dura trac Wranglers held up to the snow.

Definitely want to ARB lock my diffs. Anyone know of a good place to get the work done?

Gears n rears in Surrey did mine or BCC in abby but that's a ways out. Good call with the lockers, that and good tires and 3" lift can pretty much go anywhere easily.

So turns out lordco carries them. Bearing and hub assembly already assembled. $225 or $130 with max discount. Woop!

edit: Nevermind. The guy on the phone made a mistake. They don't carry the whole assemblies anymore.

Did you talk to Cam at Triton? When I did mine I had to knock together a press tool out of a bottle jack. Vowed to buy with hubs after that. Baffling that they don't sell them. Wish I made a nicer press.

I didn't think to try triton. Next time.

I brought my old assembly into diamond head motors with new bearings. They said it would be 30-45min of labour and should be finished today sometime.
Ideally I would have liked to purchase the whole thing but went this route so I can get everything back together today.

Hummm. Maybe you should keep an old flange and get it to me. If things slow down I could use it to make a nice pressing tool? Surely this will come up again...

Does anyone in the GVRD happen to know where I can borrow/rent a 5 ton 3 jaw pulley puller??
I'm gonna replace my pulley with the 2.85 now that it is cold enough to make install easier.
I can't find anyone I know with one lying around and seems like a waste to buy it for one time use.
Not a lot of superchargers in the area either to split costs etc......

so... regarding this Lordco max discount..... does BC Toyota 4wd have a discount through Lordco that you could share with a fellow tacoma owning knucklehead? I can be the Island Chapter. I hate not having a discount account at Lordco and always having to haggle and dicker looking for a good price.

Hello Friends to the north! I'm thinking about hitting up the Whipsaw trail this coming weekend. Does anyone have info on the current trail conditions? It's probably a long shot but I have to ask somewhere.

Have fun! I appreciate you asking around. I think it should all be clear now but it's always good to double check.

Dredging up this thread again, anyone in south surrey or surrey notice the police driving BMW vehicles?
First I've seen this. I thought they only purchased domestics.

Gotta blend in I guess. I wonder if they're allowed outfitting seized vehicles? Could explain it lol
