I wear polarized sunglasses and since the weather here has turned quite nice I find myself wearing my sunglasses often. Problem is that the OEM Entune/Nav unit does not play well with polarized glasses. Also, it seems the sun glare on screen makes it unreadable sometimes. My wifes Jeep GC has no such issues.

Is there a fix? If not, are aftermarket stereos better the sunlight on the camera/screen and work with polarized glasses?

    THanks!

I feel your pain. I made the mistake of ordering polarized sunglasses and trying to see the entertainment system in our Expedition is tough (I have to tilt my head, LoL). Anyway, the only "cure" is to find a set of sunglasses (hopefully you don't need prescription ones like I do) where the polarization isn't 90 degrees different between the glasses and the glass of the Entune screen.

It sucks. I've had to stop ordering polarized sunglasses just for that reason. They do make a big difference in reflected glare.
