I've never done the tranny, but the diff. are relatively easy, especially the rear.

ok.....here goes...........so far, i have spent alot on the maintenance i have done so far(and what i will be doing this weekend too), but alot of it, like cleaning the throttle body, fuel filter, lubing the throttle cable and stuff like that was just for my piece of mind, but its easy to do too, and it helps alot, so i did that. the oil change was about $35-40.........because i ran mobil1 and a m1-102 filter, and techron in the gas tank, plus a can of seafoam..........ran it thru the brake booster line....really helps. the spark plugs cost me around $20, gonna do them this weekend along with draining the transmission pan and cleaning the screen, t-iv transmission fluid was $6 a quart at the dealer, but you come out cheaper buying a case, which was around $65 or so...........so i got a case of it and 3 extra quarts, so im gonna do that(pan drain/screen cleaning) now and im gonna get the whole tranny flushed shortly thereafter.....plus gonna add a tranny cooler too, and for the diffs and transfer case..........gonna do that this weekend also, $10 a quart for mobil1 75w90, i got 6 quarts to be on the safe side. if you dont wanna run synthetic, you can get some decent regular gear(lucas, castrol, valvoline, etc) for relatively cheap compared to the mobil1, probably right around $3 to 6 a quart. agfain......i went with synthetic for peace of mind, and i like synthetic anyway......plus i want to get this truck in awesome shape. gonna get an afe pro dry s filter and do the deckplate mod soon too.

whenever you wanna do a good service and all on your truck......come on up man. we'll have beers and smooth running trucks after were done:D!!

it'll be a breeze man, plus we'll clean out the throttle body too.......i got the seafoam deep creep for that already!! you'll spend a little bit of money, but it'll be worth it. word of advice......get your oil at wal-mart.....its cheaper there, and the filter and rest of the stuff from autozone. tranny fluid needs to be bought at the dealer............type t-iv, but i may have some left from what i have now, so you may not need to get any..........just fyi.
