The Casita is an awesome little camper. marine grade fiberglass (picture two fiberglass boat hulls sealed together at the central belt seam). 2200 lbs or so dry, 3500 lbs gross. ours is a 2008 16' Spirit Deluxe, has A/C, heater, water heater, shower, toilet, 2 burner stove, 3-way fridge, little dinette for 2, double bed, and lots of storage.

Actually a old Datsun bed and Datsun rear end. Custom Chevy leaf pack modified for for the trailer to make it tow well and custom rack with hinges made on the top by yours truly:hattip:. Still have some other details I want to add but all packed up it looks pretty good :D

07 Double Cab. Boat and trailer at 5,400 lbs. People tend to scatter on the freeway on ramp and give you plenty of room to merge.

Towing is fine. Definitely notices any uphill.

20' from a Benford design, fiberglass mold supplied by Cascade Yachts in PDX. 8' wide. It has a 9 hp Yanmar marine diesel engine. It burns 0.22 gallons of fuel an hour at speed. Top speed is a little over 6 mph, depends upon the current. Boat is 3,800 lbs. Sits 10'6" on the trailer. Dad built it about 22 years ago.

Life is better at 6 mph.

An easier pull, just got this in March. 2015 Micro Minnie Winnie 170FB, just under 3,000# empty. 7' wide, we put a weight distribution hitch on it. Pulls very easy. You still notice it uphill (we have 10 ply taller tires on the truck). Brakes very easy and no sway or issues.

I don't tow very often, and when I do, it's just my little utility trailer. Loaded some excess stuff to take to an equipment/yard sale this weekend...

Rhode, HOW AWSOME is that boat. That would be a great boat to tote around Narragansett Bay in.
