It's been a while, but Stearns makes several solar showers I used to use when hiking/backpacking. They worked well, and had a temp guage as well. Even if it was cloudy, it was nice to take a shower. I heard the 5 gallon ones have issues though.

Depending on the length of the trip I use baby wipes. If I am camping where there's water I generally will boil some water wait till it's just warm and then I'll use that to shave and wash my hair. With the exception of some that have a large tank shower running along there camper that get warm, I haven't really liked solar showers. But I like to look like a lobster when I'm done so...

Yeah buddy! I love Harrison. This was last weekend at Chehalis. North side.

I'm building one of these. Will either boil water or let it warm up in the sun.

I've never heard so much talk of showers and camping. Jump in the closest body of water, rub your pits and privates with some mud or gravel and call it a day.

Awesome. I definitely saw your rig rolling out of town through Pitt meadows on Lougheed with the Kayaks loaded up. I love the Harrison Lake area, tons to explore on the west and east sides.
How was the water at Chehalis? I was up there in March and it was cold!

    I'm game.

I'm actually just working in Pitt Meadows at the moment. I live in Coquitlam as well. I'm always in my work van when I spot you so that's probably why you haven't seen my truck rolling around.
