my next question is, why you lied to the dealer? you said the truck didnt get offroaded, but yet you deleted the thread where the pics are showing the truck was offroaded pretty heavily

Well gawdamn! For once in this history of this fiasco the OP delivers! Toyota needs to know he's lying to them.

Fraud? Please tell me how useing a truck for its intended purpose and it failing is fraud. Im not jumping it off a cliff just driving through muddy roads, and they are dirt when we dont have rain, not my fault a truck fails driving down a county maintained dirt road and the truck cant handle it, prius can go down the road when dry

The bottom line is you lied and said you didn't off road it. You've changed your story numerous times.

When my truck is paid off, I will keep it and buy a new 4 runner (Assuming they keep them truck like). Simple quality will keep me around.

OP, I didn't read every detail but if you're telling the truth on the whole matter, don't let people here get to you. Lots of proud brand loyalists here who simply can't handle being told something is wrong with a Tacoma. Then there are those with issues like you who can't get Toyota to fix them. Here you are pissing on both parties so it's to be expected.

If you're lying, more power to you. Just not sure why?

    Good luck with it all.

Reading every detail would be a good idea. It's not an issue of brand loyalty, it's an issue of integrity of which the OP has none. His story and "symptoms" have changed so many times it's laughable.

If you are dead set on switching, the F-150 with the supercharged V6 is the way to go.

^^^ Someone seems like they have a personal problem with you, what does it matter to you? Tacomas are made to be sporty vehicles that can handle being offroaded. If you think toyota took his word for it and just believed that the truck has never gone offroad without inspecting it you're mistaken. They're not going to buy back the truck without doing a thorough inspection for any damage that could be caused by the owner especially from offroading since thats probably a common occurence.

Even if he was being rough on the truck, a lot of us on here have done some pretty heavy offroading with stock leafs. My first 2nd gen tacoma, we did some pretty heavy mountain trails bone stock (didnt beat the truck up but still), also towed 5,500 pounds regularly in the summer (granted with airbags). Also a lot of guys who upgraded their front suspension and leave the back stock until they can afford to upgrade the rear and dont have problems like op did. I dont keep up with the tw drama so I dont know the details but if I were in his position I would let toyota buy my truck back too. Not all trucks come out 100% perfect from the factory, every brand and model has a couple come out wrong, maybe toyota noticed something or maybe they know a buy back is cheaper than their lawyer/court. Either way, some of you tw guys need to find a hobby. Its like internet mean girls on here hahaha

I didnt read the whole thread but I like the new 4runners alot but they're pretty expensive so for the price I would probably look at a half ton. My family has an 05 Sierra Denali and we love the truck, great on power, very comfortable, and the truck has done a number of cross country road trips in comfort. No major issues (knock on wood) and they look clean. Worth checking out, I dont have experience with the new ones but from what I hear the new 6.2 is an even better motor, it is all time awd but it has done a good job even in the mud pulling out a buddy or two during rain storms.

nothing personal at all, but its the ethics of the OP that are questionable. Initially when he posted up, people were supporting his cause until he began his lying and started having inconsistencies. Lying to Toyota motor Corp and the dealership is fraud, and I really hope somehow he gets his ass rung up for it
