I was looking at the back of my truck today sitting in the garage, and it looked like it was not level. After a quick measurement from the floor to the wheel well the driver side is definitely half inch lower. Does anybody have any thoughts on this? I feel like I've read something on here before about it, but couldn't find anything when I searched

Taco lean. Apparently everyone has it to a certain extent, it's because the battery, the driver, and the gas tank are all on the driver's side.

I haven't dived down the rabbit hole of how to fix it yet, but apparently with aftermarket suspension upgrades (bilstein 5100, etc) it goes away.

Get a 1/4 inch top plate spacer in the left front suspension only. Levels it out for most.

Or get a really fat girlfriend and have her ride shotgun everywhere you go.

I was undecided on which of the two would be the better choice, but after a quick search it looks like the spacer is under $25. I bet a fat girlfriend could easily eat more than $25 in tacos. Plus my wife divorcing me would be expensive. So I think I may go the spacer route if it starts to really bother me.

Funny thing is I have had and loved every generation of Tacoma. I never knew what the hell the Taco lean was. I thought it had something to do with a lift kit. Well now I know......image.jpg

Why not? Big girls need lovin too.
Or instead of one fat chick you could get two average size chicks to ride with you everywhere.

See right there is why Tacoma world is great. All of the good information you get. I'll definitely take the two decent girls over the one fat one.
