I just installed a PA 3 inch body lift on my 2015 4x4, which includes a steering shaft extension.

After that, there are about 3 points where I turn left or right, where the steering column will pop and you can feel it in the floorboard. This happens when I'm stopped and when I'm moving. Apparently this is a common problem, even without a steering shaft extension. Anyone have any insight?

Please don't answer with "body lifts suck."

Anyway it sounds like the No1 Intermediate Steering Shaft is angled excessively and binding. OR the universal joint in the shaft is worn and binding.

For the first cause reduce the angle.

For the second replace the Intermediate steering shaft assembly.

Oh and body lifts suck. :)
