Well guys, my name is Cody, I'm active duty Navy in Hampton, VA. I've always wanted a taco but they were always just a little pricey when I was looking. I found one online, scheduled a time to meet up and that same night I threw a rod in my 87 Chevy K5 Blazer so it was meant to be! Picked her up Monday night. The only time before this I had the opportunity to drive a Tacoma was when my Wife and I went to her hometown in Alaska and I was driving her 01 Xtra cab 4x4. She bought it for 6500 when she was 16 at 40,000 miles from a family friend. She put damn near 60,000 miles on it and sold it when we were there to a dealership on their first offer of 6000. So I knew at that point they retained value very well! Anyway I've now got an 2002 impulse red double cab 4x4 with 152,000 on it. It's got the 3.4 and it's a TRD. Only things I've done so far is install a new corner light, PO broke the bottom mount so he just had it duct taped on. The antenna is snapped off inside the fender so I ordered a new one. Today I was installing my Pioneer stereo from the K5 into the taco and the PO also just put a new walmart antenna inside the dash...Didn't bother routing it up and actually installing it correctly lol anyway nice to meet all of you!

It depends what's wrong with it. You may have to fix ABS itself, or you might have to pull the dash apart and replace the bulb. I think you can just pull the fuse to turn it off.
Do you have the RR DIFF LOCK button on the left side of the steering wheel? TRD Offroads didn't come with painted fenders flares. You may have bought a Limited (without the locker) and payed the TRD price, or it is a TRD OffRoad and the previous owner just painted the flares.

Good looking out man, but yeah I think the PO just painted the flair because I have the locking diff and I made sure it worked prior to purchase.

About ABS, I was asking how to get the ABS to flash the codes, I haven't found how to do it anywhere. However after seeing so many other people say their brake fluid was low I decided to double check mine and it was over filled, the light is off now....I will check again in the morning.
