No BS: I had a Honda XRM 110cc once, top speed I got from it (all stock) is 68mph.

I have a few PM's out on dot net. I have thought about upgrading both instead of just finding the front. I plan on making it a track duty bike, however I am not at the caliber where the weight savings will make crucial improvements upon my times, yet. Thanks for your input. Thought you might have an inside line since you have an 07 track queen.

Clutch-ups are so much smoother and more predictable once you get the hang of them. I'll admit I was terrified of the idea and I stuck to power wheelies for pretty much all of last summer. I still suck at wheelies though so take that with a grain of salt. I'm still practicing though...

All i want to do, is pop up in 2nd and keep it for a few feet, under 40.

Im terrified of clutch ups and/or don't know how to do it. And terrified of tank slap when i come down

I got her used and slightly abused, been replacing/upgrading several parts. She'll win the beauty pageant or chase down and beat up the winner when I'm done with her. haha

Tank slap only happens when you pull it up or set it down crooked. I've yet to have it happen (knock on wood).

I always use second, that's where the photos of me from. I've been trying to shift into third and practice slow ones in first.

Just keep your foot on the rear brake!!! Use the brake to control how far back and keeping it up vs on/off the throttle

Ive been covering the brake, but i cramp up. I haven't been getting that high. Maybe 6" or so. I need to work on holding it. But I just started a couple hours ago. I think im off to a good start. Need to get more comfortable with it too

You'll get it. The big bikes make it easy to chase with the power and the speed. Once you figure out how to smoothly do the clutch up its easy though.
