Hey guys! Been dreaming of owning a Tacoma since I first sat in one back in 1992. About 5 days ago, I was finally able to buy my first new vehicle ever and I purchased my dream truck: 2016 TRD Off-Road 4X4 in Barcelona Red. As a disabled veteran, it's been a long road in saving up enough cash for a down payment while making ends meet, but man, it's worth it.

Still can't believe it! I'm constantly trying to find reasons to just jump in and drive it somewhere haha.

Looking forward to reading the forums and learning tips, tricks, and whatever tidbits of knowledge you guys possess.

Thanks for all the welcomes. I'm in Kannapolis. Haven't checked the forums for a few days cause I've been driving wherever I can. Took it to a place called Badin Lake that has ORV trails and checked to see if I could drive them. For the most part, the truck did great on some stupid crazy terrain. I totally went slow so I wouldn't damage the new truck and to keep paint chips at a minimum. I ended up getting a few nicks at the bottom of the body that went through the protective tape and down to bare metal. Shit happens I guess.

Anyone know of a good touch-up paint that I can use to re-protect the bare metal? I'll drive even slower next time...at least until I get enough scratches to justify going fast cause it needs to be repainted.

Also, just an FYI, if you've had a ton of spine surgeries, take breaks between mogul running. I could barely move for a day and a half after my Tacoma adventure.
