Been Busy

So, I have finally found some time to get a few things done to my TRD Pro. Here is the list along with some picts. Installed Wet Okole seat covers, and I really like them. Installed my Phone Holder from ProClip for my iPhone 6 and I made a bracket that mounts to the ProClip to hold my UltraGauge MX. Installed the ICON AAL progressive 3 leaf pack and I decided to leave the overload spring in. Trucks rides amazing and sits pretty level, way better than before I did anything. Was worried it would be a bit high in the back leaving the overload in, but I think its perfect. Had the windows tinted, kinda a hard to tell from the picts. The lights on the front are from Baja Designs that I installed a few months back, but I did buy the fog light kit from Baja Designs (Thanks Bailey) last week but have not had a chance to install them yet.

In the last pict, I was wondering what people thought about drilling a hole and taping to attach the emergency brake cable that now is tie wrapped out of the way since installing the AAL?

I probably wouldn't attach anything to the bracket. Might end up with a squeak or something else worse since the leafs will move around within bracket.

But that's just my opinion.

Truck looks great! I wouldn't attach the e-brake cable to the bracket, seems to have quite a bit more slack when it's not attached and won't come close to the tire.

I've got the same 3 leaf AAL in the rear, with the TRD extended travel remote resi shocks and similar setup up front. With no bracket connected, and doing a maximum droop test of the rear axle the cable is stretched pretty tight. I elected to not attach a new bracket as it will either damage the line or get torn off on max droop.

 

Thanks for the feed back, was just curious what to do as the E-Brake cable is right up against the leaf springs since it is not supported anymore by that bracket

 

Put a couple wraps of duct tape around where it rubs and leave it alone.

 

was actually thinking of getting some vacuum tubing with the same ID as the OD of the E-Brake cable, slice the tubing long ways and fit over E-Brake cable and add a tie wrap to each end, if that is even needed

 

looks great. What wheels do you have and what's the tire size?

 

They are the factory wheels & tires that come on the TRD Pro

 

Factory tire size is 265/70R16.
