My1stTac introduction

Although I am not the owner of a Toyota, I have been watching carefully as my son and his Tacoma tackle many trails and camping trip, tours and adventures. I am seriously jealous and considering repossessing my son's Tacoma at my first opportunity. He holds the keys very close and dear to his heart, so it may take a bit.

I drive a 2013 Chevy Silverado half ton, 5.3 L, extended cab 4x4 which easily handles the towing of my 22 foot Backcountry RV through the mountain passes of BC and beyond. I spent long days walking through the forests in southern BC, love it immensely, and would not trade even my closest encounters with wildlife (moose, grizzly and black bears) for anything. I love to spend time in the mountains, sitting by remote mountain lakes, photographing wildlife, plants, and scenery, walking my two large dogs, and just enjoying the quiet life.
